Mother's Day Card
CSI Casefile #20 - Bust A Cap
I really surprised myself with this weeks casefile over at CSI. The color scheme is one that I normally wouldn't have used but I really like the way my layout turned out. I decided to use a pic of my honey after his club's "Bust A Cap" weekend. I used some pleated strips that I learned to do from a tutuorial a while back and then instead of using the accordian strip for a flower I used it as another layer. I also pulled out some scrapbooking crinkled paper strip to add another layer. But what I really love about this layout was being able to pull out my old roller stamp and rolling handle and creat my own background paper. It has been soooo long since I used those products. So here is the picture of my layout and a close up of the heat embossing I also used. Thanks for stopping by.

CSI Case#18
I instantly loved the colors in this Case over at CSI. I knew I would have the perfect picture. I also decided to take the opportunity in making my own flowers. This is my take on the blue daze flower tutorial I found on the Swirlydoos forum. Lisa the lady that has this tutorial is awesome at making flowers you can find her tutorial here. She truly inspires me to make my own.

50th Birthday Card (male)
I made this card for our friend’s birthday. It is a center step card and I was pretty surprised to find out that it really wasn’t too difficult to make.
