I found these pics from my son's trip to NC in 2009. I decided to make them into a fun photo strip. These pics are of my brothers and my Dad out enjoying some golfing.  I love having these great memories!

I saw these shells on the beach...they were placed in the just the right place for them to remind me of my 3 sons. I had to shoot this photo! Even though they were not with me on my trip they were in my heart and thoughts and always will be. I absolutely love this photo!!!

Our NC Trip

Our first trip alone...all our boys are living on their own now and so we decided to go to NC to see my brothers (the twins) in the Marines and the rest of our family for Thanksgiving.  It was a very enjoyable trip. On the last day that we were there we went to the beach and took this pic.  I truly love it!  It sums up the mood of our trip.  Thanks for stopping in!

4th of July Weekend

On 4th of July weekend...we decided to go to the Austin area to visit my cousins.  It was a blast!  We had lots of laughs, remembering the old times, great food and just a freaking good ol' time.

CCG #202 - Where in the World

Today was my first entry to Color Combos Galore....I am nervous but also excited to make my first post on their site.  I absolutely love this pic of my youngest son.  The challenge is to use a white wash wood grain, cherry bing, key lime, and lime ice.  Once I saw this color combo I knew I had to do it!  I really enjoyed this challenge.  Thanks for stopping by.

Motorcycle Club Card

My dear husband asked me to make him a card for a fellow biker that lost one of their club members in an accident. I researched their club and decided to use their club colors (cuts) as the design for the card. My husband loved it! It is such a sad reason to make a card but I felt honored that he rather I make a card then him buying one. The inside of the card reads..Fellow Brothers, May the peace which comes from the memories of love shared, comfort you now and in the days ahead.

Father's Day Card

I made this card for my Daddy.  He loves to fish and I know that if it wasn't sooo HOT here in TX he would be fishing today.  The first pic is the front of the card and the second one is the inside.

Ladybug Baby Girl Brag Book

Yay it's done and I am very happy with it!!! This brag book is my first shape book I made. I used my cricut to cut out all the pages. The front and back cover were cut out of chipboard and the inside is all white card stock. I also cut one out of a transparency sheet to protect the cover. The buttons and bow on the front are actually on the transparency and the other embellishments are under it on the cover. I used all sorts of paper, embellishments and some handmade flowers. I truly enjoyed the look on my co-workers face when I gave it to her. She just fell in love with it and said it will inspire her to get quickly get all her photos printed so that she can add them to this adorable book. Now comments like that is what makes my day!!! I didn't want to add all the pics one at a time so I made a collage of them all for easier viewing. I hope it inspires you.... have a great day!

Paper Bag Mini Brag Book - Road Trip

Made this mini brag book of our (my son, my bro and me) trip to Arizona.  I had some extra pics and wanted to share them with my brother, so I decided to make this mini book out of lunch paper bags.  It is one of my favorite ways to display a few pics and then gift the brag book.

Graduation Day is Coming!!!

Next week my youngest son will graduate!!! I can’t believe it…so I decided I take these pics of him in front of my mother’s house.  I really do like them.  I then decided to make a collage and print them out to include in his invites.  I am very happy with the outcome.

Lady Bug Baby Mini Brag Book

SDC10838

Sooo sorry it has been a while since my last post.  I took a lil break, but now I think I am in full swing!  I have a co-worker ready to have her baby any day now. The theme is ladybugs, so I decided to make this mini brag book using my cricut.  I used the deep cutting blade for the front and back cover then I cut every page out of white card stock and used black, red and a black w/white polka dots for the covers. I also cut out the bug shape out of a transparency to protect the front cover.  I still need to embellish every page and add some elements.  I am pretty happy with it so far. Thanks for stopping by!

Altered Family Frame

I wish I had taken a pic of the original sign.  It used to say “Happy Hour”….but I decided to alter it and make it a family established frame for our home.  My husband is Irish and the shamrock under our name has been used for each of the boys’ tattoos including my husband.  So I had the idea of including it on this frame.  I really like the way it turned out.  This is the first time I have ever really altered anything and I am very happy with the outcome.

This is the birthday card I made for my 18 year old son.  I used “happy birthday” from Gypsy Wanderings and the horseshoe shape from Graphically Speaking

I took this picture of our friend with a horse that was getting his hoof cleaned. I think that is what the gentleman was doing. Anyway I could really tell how much Christy loves horses and the comfort the horse felt in her touch. It was too sweet! I changed the pic a bit and added the caption in her favorite color. I can't wait til I scrapbook these photos.

This picture really captures the day at the Ft. Worth Stock Show. We had a great time with our friends. Seeing all the livstock reminded me of the days when I used to show pigs in our local and county shows. It really took me back to the days of living on a farm. I miss those days and maybe some day soon we will go back to that. Johnny really enjoyed it and he looks forward to having some farm life memories of his own.
